How the PBF Scheme works (See further down the page for Actor Services and links to specific pages)
Actors on the MILAEON Agency book are not under any obligation to use any of the MILAEON Services to help promote actors, but if they do, then any payment made to MILAEON for the services below (from 3rd January 2012 onwards), becomes refundable to the actor whilst on the scheme, and under the terms and conditions set out.
To help actors budget to pay for vital promotional services, MILAEON will accept part payments in advance of the full amount required for any services required. When an actor’s payments have reached a service amount, they may then receive the service in exchange.
Service fees are refunded to an actor, when he/she gains paid work through representation on the MILAEON Agency book.
The amount refunded will be 30% or less, of the agency commission per paid assignment, until all fees have been refunded.
Example Figures:
Actor not on Scheme: Actor pays £120 for a service. Lands paid work £1,500 less 20% Agency Commission (£300). Actor receives £1,200.
Actor on PBF Scheme: Actor pays £120 for a service. Lands paid work £1,500 less 20% Agency Commission (£300), gives balance £1,200. 30% of agency's commission (£90) refunded to actor under PBF Scheme. Actor receives £1,290 and is still eligible to receive another £30 back on next successful assignment.

Scene on Camera – Showreel Creation
The industry has become fast moving with auditions being held on average between 24 to 72 hours after a casting has been sent to agents. This has prompted casting directors to request showreel material much more often, especially for roles that are paying good rates, to be sure of getting good candidates in front of them, as they are under pressure from directors to act quickly, because productions turn around in a short period of time.
The MILAEON Scene on Camera service provides an actor with essential material, so they may be considered seriously when put forward for auditions. Scene on Camera is made up of two parts, to help an actor to build a full showreel with a variety of scenes and type of performance, including Drama, Thriller, Comedy & Commercial. Each Scene on Camera part forms a two minute reel, and if both parts are completed, then a full four minute reel will be achieved, to show casting directors the actor’s diversity and abilities.
If an actor already has some showreel material, then just one part may be all that is required to complete a full reel.
All Scene on Camera reels are shot in HD and provided as downloadable versions in large and small format. All MILAEON produced videos are accepted by Casting Networks, Spotlight and other reputable organisations.
Scene on Camera Part 1 (Drama & Thriller) - £95
Click here to go to the Scene on Camera page
Scene on Camera Part 1 involves filming of two short scene segments for showreel building. With rehearsal and filming of the first scene in the morning, followed by rehearsal and filming of the second scene in the afternoon. Each actor is paired with one other and given a short script to rehearse, before filming takes place. Guidance and advice is given all the time, to ensure a great scene is performed, with the actors comfortable with their roles. The second scene is done the same way, but each actor is then paired with a different actor.
Scene on Camera Part 2 (Comedy & Commercial) - £95
Click here to go to the Scene on Camera page
Scene on Camera Part 2 is done in the same way as Part 1, except the Commercial scene may or may not contain dialogue, but concentrate on visual elements such as expression and body language.
If both parts have been completed by an actor, then MILAEON will automatically combine the two parts, to create a full four minute actor showreel.
Voice Reel Creation - £65
(This service will be available soon.)
As well as video showreels, voice reels are also in hot demand by casting directors, when deciding on whom to call in for an audition, especially for voice-over work. Some actors are cast immediately without audition by having a good voice reel. The MILAEON voice reel session is done on an individual basis with one hour allocated for rehearsal and recording. The actor may use their own material, or request that MILAEON provide scripting for them. A good voice reel would be around two minutes long, with a variety of media such as presenting, commercial, documentary and narration. The final product will be provided as an mp3 recording, which is universally accepted.
Bookings: For Scene on Camera or Voice Reel, will be done via the specific MILAEON service page (as above)
